Hi all, Some of you may know me from the Yamaha FJR1300 Facebook group, where I'm a fairly active participant, but for those who don't know me, my name is Alex, and I run http://www.policebikes.com.au I specialise in two things: 1) police -->civilian conversions 2) Police bike restoration, taking them from their post-auction nakedness back to full police spec. I'm based a few KMs south of Sydney CBD, in the oven-like suburb of Earlwood, but will be re-locating towards late March (destination unknown at this moment, but VERY open to referrals regarding leasing commercial space). I truly love the archaeological aspects of my restoration work, and the almost forensic like cleanliness of stripping out dodgy fleet fitout wiring. Clearly, I'm very shy and not in the slightest loquacious, so given these two endearing traits, and a stockpile of Yahama and BMW parts, feel free to get in touch, or even drop by for a coffee and a chat. Happy New Year to one and all, and let's hope this one see us all healthier, happier, and more prosperous (so we can buys more bikes without having to tell the Mrs.) Cheers, Alex.
